I think that's done now. Winter arrived on Saturday. There was snow on the ground when we got up and it snowed all day.
It was a beautiful snow, the type that clings to everything and makes the countryside look like a fairy tale. It was a reminder of the many ways God blesses us, giving us such beauty to enjoy!
I'm going to be taking a short blogging break. I have some projects that I need to be working on, and not enough time to do it! I will post the winner for the Men's Devotional Bible on Wednesday, but otherwise will be missing for a little bit. Hopefully I'll make good progress and will be back soon!
Oh Mari ...Im so jealous...what a beautiful snow scene. Im so going to miss not having you around. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and see you soon

I'm so jealous- we had a few flurries but that was it. It looks like a winter wonderland in that photo!
ReplyDeleteHope your break is short but very productive!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving if you don't make it back before then!
You will be missed, but it is a very busy time of the year. Will look forward to your return. God bless.

ReplyDeleteOh how pretty, Mari...it snowed here, but nothing like that...heavy frost this morning. Blessings
ReplyDelete:( will miss you !!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the beautiful snow photos, knowing it is nowhere close to me! It is beautiful. Good luck with your projects, Mari. Wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving and I look forward to your return!!
ReplyDeleteI think snow is absolutely breath taking. I just don't like the cold! I wish our snows look like that. Ours ends up being more ice. :(
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. I'm sitting on that bench again, and this time I'm wearing mittens and I've got a mugful of hot cider. We are talking and laughing. BTW I knew you were going to get snow and I have several times imagined the sugary beauty of it drifting down out of the sky onto your happy home. So magical. Happy Thanksgiving. xo
ReplyDeletehappy thanksgiving and enjoy your time away!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite kind of snow! Yes, we had a lot of snow last year at this time!

So beautiful Mari! Ours has all melted already. Might be a green Thanksgiving. That's ok - as long as we have a white Christmas. Lol
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving - to you and your beautiful family!! xoxo
It's pretty but I am never ready for it. We will see 60 again on Friday, so the weather forecast goes :) this week has been colder but not nearly as cold as it should be.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break! Happy Thanksgiving!
Mari, I prayed for you early on Saturday morning because I was thinking you may have to drive to work in the snow. This picture is incredibly beautiful. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Birthday, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. It would be even more beautiful I were not enjoying the same lovely white scenery...for some reason I prefer green. But you are right, we have a lot to be thankful for. Autumn was fantastic--much better than I could have even hoped for. All the best on your projects, and I'll be looking forward to your return.
ReplyDeleteHave a very happy Thanksgiving!
That's how our trees looked last Thanksgiving. This year we were so much warmer. In fact, on Friday we spend a lot of time outside! I have loved this warm November.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was me who had been missing. Hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas! Enjoy those babies and come back with lots of pictures!
