Last week my daughter Heather and I both had the same day off. It was a gorgeous day so we decided to drive some back roads and look at the Fall colors. We also stopped at a few cute shops! What a fun day! I pulled off the road and took lots of photos. Here's a few of them. The color isn't quite peak yet, but it's close and it's so pretty.
Lots of green here yet.
A familiar scene around here.
The plants in front of the trees are blueberry bushes.
This is a celery farm I worked at in high school. You can see they are still harvesting.
What a fun day!
Oh, such wonderful photos, Mari. Love each one, but especially the old, empty house(?). I'm a sucker for old places.
ReplyDeleteGlad you have such a great day with Heather. :)

ReplyDeleteYou certainly live in a beautiful part of the country. I love how you framed the white horse with the foliage. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a fun day, the photos look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Mari. It's so nice that you and Heather could spend the day together. I love seeing what fall looks like in other parts of the country. I think fall in Michigan looks a lot like fall in New York, where I grew up. I always like hearing about the celery farm. :) I tried your chicken recipe last week and it was delicious! I'll definitely be making it again. Hope you're having a good week so far. :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I just love those bright leaves on the ground.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos Mari! Looks like one of those perfect days. One of my favorite things in the world is when my Mumsy (what I call my Mom) and I can go shopping and out together. Precious memories of a beautiful day. ;)
