I'll tell you why I like it...
1) It's a book of Bible stories. This book has separate stories - from the Garden of Eden to the birth of Christ to the Resurrection to the new heaven and new earth. It takes all these stories and shows how they all go together into one big story; Gods plan for His people. It's written by Kevin DeYoung, a pastor from Michigan and is written in a way that makes it interesting for kids but is also interesting for adults. It's directed at kids 5-8; read to them, 8-11; read to themselves.
2) It's such a beautiful book! The artwork grabs you with the bright colors and detailed drawings that fill the whole page. Let me show you some examples:
Noah's ark
David and Goliath
The birth of Christ
The new heaven and earth
Don Clark, an artist from Washington is the talented man behind this artwork.
3) It's a high quality book. It's hardcover, 132 pages and even has a bookmark to hold your spot. The pages are thick and glossy, and as I said before the story and art will make this a favorite. This book would make a great gift for any child in your life. I highly recommend it!
The publisher of this book has offered a copy to one of my readers. All you have to do is leave a comment, and make sure I have a way to contact you if you win.
I'll post a winner on Friday.
