Here's a little bit of what I'm seeing.
The pine trees are showing new growth.
Our hosta grows several inches every day!
There are pretty little grape hyacinth blooming.
Our dwarf lilac is getting buds on it.
One of my favorite things is the Dogwood tree. They flower before most of the other trees have leaves, and are often seen at the edge of a wooded area.
Here's another one. Aren't they pretty?
Hope you are enjoying Spring as much as I am!
Gorgeous. The dogwoods are more than pretty, Mari. They are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful time of year. Like you, I LOVE to see all the new growth. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures...
ReplyDeleteDear Mari! How beautiful spring is! And you captured these exquisite blooms in all their glory...
ReplyDeleteSpring truly is one of the most delightful times of the year!
I am back home after almost a month away and oh! My heart wants to sing for joy at the beauty all around me! Living in the country...nothing can compare!
Blessings to you and have a lovely day!
Kelly-Anne
Beautiful photos, Mari. Can't wait to see your lilac in full bloom.
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful time of year, and it is so nice to see everything change from brown to green, and the added color from flowers is icing on the cake. Your pictures tell the story exactly.
ReplyDeleteHow I LOVE Soring!! It's so beautiful here in PA too. We are having a few Summer days this week.... Temps in the 80's!
ReplyDeleteIt seems we know a few mutual people in blog land, so I thoight I would stop by. It is turning to spring here too in SE Wisconsin...finally! Our lilacs look like they are about to burst. I love that you see dogwood along the wooded areas, one of my favorite sites as we head south. I had hostas coming up, but the deer saw them as a fresh salad bar again! Oh well, it is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is a wonderful time of the year. Beautiful pictures of springtime in your part of the world!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful Mari!
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL!!! We came home to greener grass and trees and more flowers than a week ago. I love Spring also.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!! And flowering trees - yay! Hopefully here soon. Leaves finally came out.
ReplyDeleteI love how you know the names of errythang Mari. Also your dogwoods! Wow! Our fluffy white and pink blossoms are a distant memory, having gone to leaf weeks ago. I'm glad you've got your sunshine and warmth back. I know you'll enjoy all the delights. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI thoroughly agree with you on spring being the most wonderful time of year. They should make a song, "We wish you a cheery warm spring, we wish you a cheery warm spring, we wish you a cheery warm spring, and a happy summer!" But, come to think of it, the happy songs are badly *needed* here in the north in the winter--so I guess there's a good reason to keep them there.
ReplyDeleteLove your blue hyacinths, and the dogwoods are pretty!
the pollen is kicking my butt, so its hard for me to have a positive outlook!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you! Spring is definitely the best time of the year!
ReplyDeleteI love dogwoods! They're a favorite down south, and I just loved it when they'd all be in bloom. Your yard is always so pretty, and your photos are amazing!
