Here's some pictures of them singing. Alaina is on the far right in pink. Take note of the little boy and girl on the left.
Aren't they funny? In this last picture, Alaina is being a monkey.
After the singing, each child was to walk through an arch, step up on on a platform on the stage, and wave to the people. We weren't sure if Alaina would do the waving.
Through the arch...
And one more!
A hug for the teacher..
Then a hug for the other teacher, and a diploma.
They put pictures on the screen of things that had happened during the year. Here's Laura with Alaina on a field trip. She sure has changed!
Afterward there was time for a picture with the teachers.
And one with Dad and Mom.
The best part of the night - cake!
Ruby came to graduation too. She behaved very well through the whole thing, but there was a small mishap afterwards. Aaron was holding her, her turned his head for a moment and she grabbed for his cake, which ended up on the floor. Guess she wanted some too!
We're so proud of Alaina. She learned lots this year! She's going to miss it this summer.
Congrats to Alaina! She looks so pretty in pink. She has grown so much. That cake sure looks good!
ReplyDeleteThey are all so cute! That little boy and girl were cracking me up! Congrats to Alaina...how fun! She did great...even the wave!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun graduation! Alaina sure is growing up quickly.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun night. This is just beginning for you. Love it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Alaina! It looks like she is the only one singing the songs. Nice pictures for her memory book.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing pictures of those two precious little girls. That is my kind of graduation too...short and very very sweet. The little girl and boy were certainly doing their own thing! lol Have a good Monday.
ReplyDeleteAWE. Thanks for the smiles and memory lane...I sure remember when Liam was that age. Blessings
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! I love these little ceremonies for them. Our preschool didn't do graduations but they always had a little singing performance in the sanctuary (the school is part of a Lutheran church). I loved watching them and trying to get photos from the middle aisle during the show.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute pictures. That little boy and girl are too funny!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - so stinkin' adorable!! Alaina is such a big Girl now. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteWhere does the time go, huh?
Such a beautiful little family and congrats to Alaina! ;)

Awe, Alaina and her classmates are just darling. Congratulations to them all :) I'm loving Ruby's hair, a couple of my children had hair grow in like that along with a couple of grandchildren :)
ReplyDeleteOur Grand, Zoe, had a graduation from preschool today. She goes to K next year. The babies grow up :/. But, we wouldn't have it any other way , would we?!
ReplyDeleteHow CUTE!!! The youngest kids I had in school were in pre-K, and some of them acted like they were 3, ha! We seldom had a program without at least one little girl lifting her skirt up over her head!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, Alaina is growing up to be so beautiful and accomplished! She stayed on point during the singing despite the shenanigans down the line. And waving twice! And chowing down on cake! She's my kind of girl. xoxo
ReplyDeleteshe's beautiful! <3
ReplyDeletePrecious, precious, precious!!
ReplyDeleteWhere do the years go? I remember coming here to your blog when Alaina was Ruby's age, and now look at her? Time flies, enjoy all these moments whilst you can!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how fast kids change and grow at that age! Alaina just keeps getting cuter :) So does Ruby -- and that hair! haha
ReplyDeleteLoved the series of photos of the four kids with the boy and girl shenanigans going on. With that age you just never know what they'll do :)
