Out with the sisters!

Every year my two sisters, Terri, Cheri and I go Christmas shopping together. It's something we all look forward to! We leave on Friday morning, shop all day and then stay in a hotel at night. We stay close to home, as it's easier if anyone has to return something. We were a little worried about the weather this year. As of Thursday, we had set a record for the most snowfall in November ever, breaking a record that was set in 1895.

However - it was a beautiful day!  Look at that blue sky!
We walked a lot, talked a lot, laughed a lot and accomplished a lot!  We got back to the hotel room around 9pm.

We always haul all of our packages into the hotel, so we can sort things and mark them down.  (There are more bags on the floor that you can't see.)  After that there was more talking and laughing...
We are all almost done with our shopping now.  It's a fun way to get done!

  12. Looks like you guys really "tied one on" this year! I see more bags on the beds than in recent memory. How do you resist buying for one another? Or if you do, how do you keep it a secret? You girls have a lovely Thanksgiving now. xoxo

  18. What a fun tradition!! It's a blessing that you can do that each year! My sisters are far away, and we are not alike at all. Too many years between them and me (six and nine years difference). We love each other, but that would be too much togetherness, I'm afraid! LOL

  19. That sounds like so much fun! I always wished I'd had a sister (I have one brother), but I have girlfriends that are like my sisters. We have a tradition that every year after the holidays calm down (January) we have a little gift exchange, lots of good food & a gab fest. We've been doing this for 25 years! (Since high school). Sisterhood of all kinds is a beautiful thing. XO

  22. I remember you doing this before. It looks like a fun but tiring way to Christmas shop. I think I'd rather shop online from the comfort of my home though. :D
