Those are crates of onions - all ready to go to the distributor! I used to work in those fields. When I worked there it was all celery, now it's onions in some fields, celery in others.
...at first I thought they were bee hives but then enlarged it and it looks like crates for shipping of some kind from this area?Pretty Fall foliage.
