This is the view from my dining room/kitchen area. It's a scene I see often as I work in the kitchen. It changes depending on what's blooming. Right now I'm enjoying the bright red of the burning bush.
Looking to the right side of the yard, the yellow maple tree that has been so bright is quickly losing it's leaves.
Going to the other side of the house, I stop at the window by Bob's painting desk. I'm glad he has a nice view to enjoy while he works, and I enjoy seeing the progress he's making on his latest job.
This photo was taken from my living room window. It's a view I enjoy, except when the driveway is filled with snow. I love the huge beech tree across the street.
As I look at it, I wonder how our new neighbors are feeling. They moved in a few months ago, and I have to wonder if they had any idea how many leaves would soon be falling?
They've already raked their yard twice, the last time was 5 days ago. I think they have a lot of work ahead of them!
That's it - the view from each side of my home. I'm blessed to live where I do and I've been enjoying the "golden view" from all the yellow and orange trees around me!

ReplyDeleteYou certainly have beautiful and peaceful views from all the different sides of your house…That tree is awesome.
ReplyDeleteYou do have a lovely yard and neighborhood! My kitchen window looks right at our neighbor's pool pump and side garage door. That's probably why I keep the blind closed most of the time when I'm in the kitchen. Your view of the burning bush is beautiful! Thanks for sharing this!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful colors!!! I do miss the fall colors...I don't think we will have much this year...seeing that we are still hitting the high 80s in october, I'm thinking we might just skip over fall. :/

ReplyDeleteWhat lovely views from your windows Mari. There are certainly a lot of leaves to be raked up though, you and your neighbours will all be very busy over the coming weeks. xx
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you joined in, Mari. I enjoyed your post. Your yard is beautiful and very shaded, which must be nice in summer. I don't envy your raking job, but it must be worth it to have so many big, beautiful trees to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful surroundings you have. I love this post. May try one of my own!
ReplyDeleteAmazing, Mari!!! I can't imagine looking out in every direction without seeing other houses. Very, very beautiful!

ReplyDeleteWe are surrounded by trees, but none as beautiful as these.
