I'm not a real fan of Halloween, and usually just add a little Fall or Thanksgiving look. I don't do a lot, so I'll just show you what I do, which is mostly pumpkins!
Starting at the front door, I have this pot of mums.
I also have a selection of pumpkins and gourds. I love the ones that are bumpy or odd shaped.
I have pumpkins scattered around my house too, including these ones on the tv stand.
My dining room wall gets a little ceramic pumpkin on one of the shelves.
This is on my table much of the year, but I change out the candle and the inside decorations. Now there are leaves, sunflowers, acorns and a few small feathers.
Last is this little thankful turkey who sits in an old milk can, next to the door from the garage into the house.
As I said, it's not a lot, but these few decorations do make me smile!
Well, these make me smile also! You do more than I do, that's for sure. :)
ReplyDeleteWe're not Halloween people either, the oddballs on the street with no decorations. :) My husband has put out some pumpkins, too, but his are fake. LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that you have found things to make your home pleasing and that it makes you smile.
I really like your autumn decorations! Your mums are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhh, Mari. I really, really like what you do. Fall is such a wonderful time of year. And you certainly have a warm, homey touch with all that you do.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing us your Fall Showcase.
We arent much into the Halloween theme either, but do love all of your fall things. I have the one pot of mums that Jim gave me and that's it! I used to do more, but just cant manage it now. Thanks for sharing yours.
ReplyDeleteMari, it is nice meeting you thru this blog share. I also shared my home. After reading your profile, I think we have more in common than liking Fall and pumpkins. I too am a Believer and Follower of Jesus Christ, a wife, mother and grandmother, and don't do Halloween. I hope to visit with you again soon in this blogger world.
ReplyDeleteHi Mari! I really like that grouping of pumpkins and gourds in front of the house. The colors just 'pop', and I'm so jealous that you don't have little bite marks all over them. Our squirrels are just ravenous in these parts!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers look so healthy too. What a fun sight those are even in the changing weather.
Thank you for the tour of your house decor too :)
Blessings,
Ceil
Very cute! I love all the pumpkins, especially. I don't decorate for Halloween because we don't want kids knocking on the door. Bah humbug. I do have fall wreaths on the front doors. Since we are hosting a BIG family Thanksgiving this year, I will need to get some more decorations out to get a more festive feel. Pumpkins....
ReplyDeletelove them!!
ReplyDeletei'm too lazy to decorate, but i appreciate it when others do.
I to just do for Thanksgiving or a fall theme.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors of fall.
I love these! I especially love the color of that wall! Everything just pops against it. It is all so tastefully done! Great job, girl!
ReplyDeleteLoveeeee it!!! No decorating for fall until after we move...2 weeks and counting...Blessings
ReplyDeleteyour decorations look great! I love the color of your mums!
ReplyDeleteI was at yourhouse today and everything looks just fine!! You have the decorators touch. :-).
ReplyDeleteThey make me smile too Mari, because you make such a cozy and attractive home for yourself and your family. It's so important! People need beauty and order all around. I don't like Halloween either (although I admit a partiality to skeletons and skulls -- for obvious reasons -- but that is year-round, not just now) but I do love autumn and its colors. I have a wreath on my door as my sole fall decoration, but it's awful pretty! xoxo
ReplyDeletethe pumpkins are even prettier there where you are. love your decorations!
ReplyDeleteI have a few Halloween things, but not in a scary way as that isn't really my thing, I do do autumn and pumpkins though! It was lovely to see your decorations, especially the selection of pumpkins and gourds you have! xx
ReplyDeleteI love all your pretty autumn touches. Your pumpkins and gourds make such a pretty arrangements. All the textures and colors blend together so beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI love your candle holder and the turkey.
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkins add a nice Autumn look.
