Silly Boy!

It was another weekend to have Alaina overnight. When I picked her up, she started talking about going to see the "silly boy". It took a few minutes before I realized what she was talking about.

This is the silly boy.  It's next to our bank and she saw it from the car the last time she was over.  She kept reminding me on the way home that we had to see him.  However - she was sad when we turned in and he wasn't outside.  It was raining and they must have taken him in.

On Saturday she brought it up again, so when I took her home we went by, and he was outside.  She wanted to get out and see him, so we parked and walked over.

She was much braver in the car than in person.  The fan makes quite a noise and he was pretty tall.  This was as close as she would go.  She was happy to have seen him though!

  5. How cute she looks. I can see why she might be a bit intimidated. He must be gigantic from her point of view.

  11. How funny! She is so cute. My kids love those too. One time we saw two of them that got twisted around each other and they were pink and blue...it was a little naughty! Haha.

  13. So cute! It's funny the stuff grandkids get fixated on! Does she want certain foods when she comes over? Mine always ask for the pumpkin bread from a local store and are very disappointed if I don't have it.
