This is the silly boy. It's next to our bank and she saw it from the car the last time she was over. She kept reminding me on the way home that we had to see him. However - she was sad when we turned in and he wasn't outside. It was raining and they must have taken him in.
On Saturday she brought it up again, so when I took her home we went by, and he was outside. She wanted to get out and see him, so we parked and walked over.
She was much braver in the car than in person. The fan makes quite a noise and he was pretty tall. This was as close as she would go. She was happy to have seen him though!
She is so cute. Our fav Mexican restaurant has a green silly boy that sits right next to the handicapped parking space we park in. Sat. Evening the wind and rain were strong and silly boy bopped me over the head!!!
ReplyDeleteCute pic of her checking him out! Such a cute age.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kat
I'm laughing at Mildred! haha. That's not a silly boy, that's a bad boy!
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute post...so funny that she was persistent in seeing him! He is big!
So cute. Isn't it fun to see the world through a child's eyes? Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHow cute she looks. I can see why she might be a bit intimidated. He must be gigantic from her point of view.
ReplyDeleteShe is just so cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little girl!
ReplyDeleteI can imagine what the noise of the fan would have been like to such a sweet, innocent girl like Alaina. She's such a doll!!!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww! How cute!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo so cute, Alaina and your story!
ReplyDeleteHow precious is that!! Made me smile, Mari. She is adorable, and how cute that she named it Silly Boy.
ReplyDeleteHow cute- yes, I would be much braver in the car than up close with those silly things!
ReplyDeleteDont we wish that adults would enjoy the 'little' things in life as children do? She is so cute.
ReplyDeleteHow funny! She is so cute. My kids love those too. One time we saw two of them that got twisted around each other and they were pink and blue...it was a little naughty! Haha.
ReplyDeleteOh I love those things! I could watch them forever. I never thought to call it silly boy. Good call, Alaina. xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo cute! It's funny the stuff grandkids get fixated on! Does she want certain foods when she comes over? Mine always ask for the pumpkin bread from a local store and are very disappointed if I don't have it.
ReplyDeleteSooo cute! She is absolutely adorable. I know you enjoy her so much.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute picture!
