I've been postponing decorating for Fall, because I wasn't really ready for Summer to be done. However it's really cooled off here and the leaves are changing, so ignoring it wasn't working! Last week I went out for some decorations for our porch.
Along the way we admired the colors of the changing leaves. We stopped at a roadside stand and bought some little pumpkins for $1 each.
Then we stopped here for some that were a little bigger. They have plenty to choose from!
Here's one of our pumpkin piles.
We also got this big mum and a few unusual pumpkins. I put out my Autumn decorations in the house too, so now I guess I'm finally ready for Fall.
better make it quick and get ready for winter - rain and snow mix coming Thursday!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, RW & SK
Half the fun of Autumn decorating is the search for just the right pumpkins! The mum is gorgeous too. Enjoy your Monday.
ReplyDeleteGeeze whiz, thanks, singing Green Acres now, lol. Lovely photos. Aldi's has huge pumpkins for like $3, hubby said no more pumpkins though. Party pooper, lol. Blessings
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and 'fallish'!
ReplyDeleteLooks nice.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Mari! I love the pumpkin piles! Great idea! I'm sure the inside looks just as nice. I hung my fall wreaths on the doors and put out a few Halloween decorations. That will be it for me, but the pumpkins do look great!
ReplyDeleteLooks great, I love the variety of pumpkins. I made a new Fall wreath for my door yesterday, I'm a little late too!
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I have a huge boxful of the cutest fall decorations, including painted wooden turkey head and feathers that you stick into a pumpkin to make it look like a turkin. Anyway, since we moved eight years ago I have not seen that box. It may be in the attic. I'm bummed out for the eighth fall in a row.
ReplyDeleteOr a pumpkey. Either way it's cute. I should float the ntoion to TG that he rummage in the attic for that box. Baaahahahaha I can see the eyeroll now.
ReplyDeleteYour pumpkin piles and mums look so festive! I love fall decorating, it's so homey and cheerful.
ReplyDeleteWow I admire you decorating the outside of your house at all. Very creative displays. What will you do with the pumpkins later on?
ReplyDeleteI love the pumpkins you chose and that mum is gorgeous...
ReplyDelete"GREEEEEEN ACRES IS THE PLACE FOR ME. GREEEEEN ACRES IS THE PLACE TO BE..."...or something like that. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the color orange - it was the color of my bridesmaids' dresses. Still my favorite.
