that looks really yummy....I love rhubarb. I bet the jello balances out the tartness very nicely!
ReplyDeleteI'll be right over - put the coffee on! Don't I wish I could visit all my blogfriends like that!!! Looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Karin, I wish I could visit you that easily too! This recipe looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great combination. I love rhubarb. My mom used to make big bowls of rhubarb sauce. Of course, as an adult I was dismayed to discover how much sugar was required to make it taste as delicious as my mom's, haha!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE rhubarb, and would pick it from the garden (actually it grew beside the garden and came back each year) and just munch on a stalk. Sour goodness! It doesn't grow in Florida. I miss it, though it can be found at Publix sometimes - imported and not nearly as good. Thanks for letting me reminisce!
ReplyDeleteRhubarb and strawberries remind me so much of my late father in law. He would put them together in a quart jar and eat some with each meal in the summer. My middle daughter loves it too and says it reminds her of him as well. Your recipe looks easy enough...I may have to try it, but with another fruit for me...
ReplyDeleteSounds and looks great!!
ReplyDeleteI "know" you from reading Judith's blog and saw Brooke post about you today. I love your little corner of the Internet:) My first job out of college included some days where i covered an LTAC unit, and it was challenging but very rewarding. Just wanted to say hi!
ReplyDeleteYum! Had some rhubarb pie recently and it was soooo good! But I rarely make pie since my crust-making abilities are more of a DISability :)
ReplyDeleteBut this I could handle.
I think :)
I'm not a rhubarb person...but this does look good.

ReplyDeletePut the coffee on and watch for my car in the driveway. It'll be at least fourteen hours.
