Oh my word the picture with Bob is just beyond precious! She looks so cute in the tub and it just amazes me what a little clone of Aaron she is! Such a cutie!
Oh I love a soapy wet baby. Hard on the knees and back, bathing little ones, but so much fun! Reminds me of when my niece Joanna was a newborn and we were visiting. I'm big on Johnson's Baby Powder ... no bath or diapering experience is complete without it. OK so some people freak out now about talcum being "bad" for you but use the cornstarch, the fragrance is the thing. Anyway my sister, Joanna's mom, didn't use baby powder and was sort of against it but I was the one doing the bath and we were in the bathroom with the door closed so I said to baby Joanna as she lay up on the counter swaddled in a towel, you're getting a sprinkle of baby powder. And just as I aimed the nozzle at her belly, my sister opened the door and startled me so much, I squeezed the powder can and instantly the whole bathroom was a cloud of baby powder! One way or another that baby smelled like baby powder. I guess I showed her.
Awwwwwwwww, these sweet images melt my heart. That 2nd one should be enlarged and framed. But the last one...Grandpa spoiling his granddaughter...now, that is priceless.
So true!! I LOVE wrapping them in a towel and snuggling them after a bath. Unfortunately, it's not long till they think it's a lot more fun to run naked through the house than to snuggle!
Alaina is beautiful and these pics bring a smile to my face.
ReplyDeleteSo fun....
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute :)

ReplyDeleteAw! Bath time was always my favorite time of day with my boys. My boys loved it that much, too! So fun!
