Every day we have visitors come to the nursing home, and while we are thankful for each of them, there are some that are welcomed by more staff and residents than others.
Whenever kids or pets come, they are warmly welcomed and given lots of attention.
Last week the daughter of one of our residents brought in her puppies.

They arrived in their kennel and seemed to have no problem in crawling over each other.
There were 2 black puppies and one brown one.

oh my word they are adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteI want one. Only I would end up regretting it, because it would never grow up and leave home and give me cute grandbabies, so I will resist.
ReplyDeleteThey are so adorable.....I bet the residents love it when animals and kids come to visit......
ReplyDeleteLooks like the staff loved them too....
They were a big hit that day for sure. I think everyone wanted to take one home~~~
ReplyDeleteI was visiting a nursing home once, and someone brought in two white dogs almost as tall as a pony. I was in the hall waiting to visit my SIL. I was not comfortable as they passed, but the patients loved the dogs. Now, if there are children around, especially babies, THEY would have had MY attention.
ReplyDeletethose puppies are just adorable!
ReplyDeleteLoved your story - same response must be universal - children and dogs help us to smile, come out of our shells, talk baby or puppy talk, and generally become much more alive - unless of course we happen to be afraid of dogs.
ReplyDeleteWe do have both groups visiting our seniors on a regular basis! It's the highlight of the day when that happens!
Adorable bundles of love, and spirit lifters.
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet faces and a joy to hold such a warm bundle of love!
ReplyDeleteI am not a real dog lover but they are adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute! I can see how they would brighten any one's day!
ReplyDeleteHow come those wrinkles look so adorable on a puppy but not on a human being??

ReplyDeleteI am sure those cuties were the hit of the day. Those little pudgy faces are to cute not to love.
ReplyDeleteI think it is wonderful that the residents get to have guests like this.

ReplyDeleteWho cares about allergies...I want one! So cute.
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute. Love the brown one! How special for the residents to be able to enjoy them. Bet it makes their day.
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! I'm sure they just made the residents' day!
ReplyDeleteLovable and adorable pups. :)
ReplyDeleteI took my dog to a nursing home when visiting my father-in-law, and like you said, the residents could not get enough of her.
I always loved it when pets visited!
