We, like much of the country have been dealing with a heat wave that's been leaving us hot and bothered for over a week.
I was looking through pictures and came across these shots that were taken in February. I thought I would share them to help cool us off and to remind us that it could be worse!

ReplyDeleteSame here I do feel better. At least in Summer we can go somewhere or find a good shade and that's it we are okey. While a snowy day like this is sometimes depressing. But if I have somebody with me who is willing to walk and take pictures around it would be cool ^_^
ReplyDeletethe heat has been so bad that wed and thursday i had to do so many breathing treatments ans use my rescue inhailer too many time and i had to be put back on prednisone something that I have not had to do in almost a year.Oh well such is life. and when the weather does look like those pictures we will be saying I'll be gla when it's spring again.

ReplyDeleteI like summer, but, I think Fall is my favorite.
I remember these from winter! So beautiful! We had a lovely warm day today, but yesterday morning it was 8/46 first thing in the morning! Wore my winter jammies! I'm content with each season though my fav is always fall - after the first freeze and the bugs are gone, LOL!
ReplyDeleteDear Mari, I have heard about this awful heat wave throughout parts of the States and Canada! It's madness but then again, looking at those pictures...I also feel like the sun is more than welcome to shine!:) Anyway, no heat wave here in Norway, just cool, rainy summer days.:)

"Hot and bothered" indeed. Can't say I feel much cooler for having seen your pictures, though. They ARE good reminders of the cold and beauty of winter. Guess we need each season to appreciate the others.

ReplyDeleteBEautiful, snowy photos. The only time I see that sort of thing is in a photo, which is absolutely enough for me as I'm a Summer gal too. Still, the snow is undeniably beautiful.

ReplyDeleteAh, such beautiful snow! What a stunning view you have and I'll bet it's pretty even in all this heat. We've gotten a break today, some nice rain, and temps only in the high eighties predicted for Tuesday. I'll take it! Happy Monday and happy week!
