Big Announcement!


I'm soooo excited!
We got the best news this weekend, and you can probably guess what it is from the picture.
We are going to be grand parents! Our daughter Laura and her husband Aaron are expecting a baby in October. Somehow they kept it a secret for 12 weeks!
They were able to hear the heartbeat on Friday.
They spent the weekend letting family and friends know the news and gave me the okay to share it now.
It's probably good that I didn't know earlier, because I would have had a hard time keeping it in!

    Congratulations Mari. I never thought anything would compare to having children of my own but let me tell you this comes pretty close. You are going to have so much fun.     Hi sweet friend!

    Gosh, I've had fun catching up with you tonight. It seems like FOREVER since I've had time to just read blogs and enjoy myself. Between our two weeks in California and then having two grandsons here for Spring Break, I seem to have gotten myself behind. Not anymore though. I'm BAAAACK!

    I'm so excited for you. And...since Bree and Jay are expecting in October, we both will be having grandchildren around the same time. Bree's due date is October 18th. How about Laura's?

    AWESOME!!!!!! You are in for the most wonderful stage of your life, and I totally mean that, and I should know, hahahahaha!!

    I was thinking of Kat's new when I read yours. I have news too that I haven't been given permission to put on my blog yet, but I can probably tell you here! Sam and Jennifer are also expecting a baby in October! So all three of us will be spicing up the blog world with cuteness, haha!
