It's Wednesday, and that means Kristen will have lots of great ideas listed at her blog. Check them out at

Do you ever make cooked pudding? It tastes so much better than the instant kind. However, we aren't fans of the skin that forms on the top as it cools. If you put Plastic wrap over the top, and then press it right onto the top of the pudding, no skin will form!
amazingly, i have heard this before...i don't even like chocolate pudding and i certainly am not adventurous enough to make it from scratch! :)
ReplyDeleteI never knew that cool tip! Thanks.

I like pudding but only if it has stuff mixed in like nuts or chocolate chips and whipped cream. Good idea!
ReplyDeleteI agree with homemade being WAAAAY better than instant. And it's so easy to make! I use this trick too. 'Cause puddin' skins are icky! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat tip! I do this too, especially when I make ice-cream and the custard has to sit in the fridge for a few hours!
ReplyDeleteI can use any tip when it comes to making something with chocolate!! I love having my chocolate. Thanks Mari!
ReplyDeleteYou are right when you say "it taste way better than the instant BUT the instant is so much easier! Good idea though.

ReplyDeleteThe skin is the best part. Ever since I was a kid, I would spoon off the skin and eat it with relish.
