Sphenopalatineganglioneuralgia

Sphenopalatineganglioneuralgia.

30 letters and it's one of the longest words in the English language. I bet you don't know what it means. (I didn't either!)
It means brain freeze, something I think we have all experienced. If you would like to have that feeling again, stop by your local 7 Eleven on July 11 and get a 7.11 ounce Slurpee. Slurpee turns 44 on that day and participating stores will be giving them away free, from 8am to 11 pm!

  5. That cracked me up! My kids love Slurpees. I'll have to see if any of our 7-11 stores are doing it. Maybe we'll just make the rounds all day long!

  6. There have been a lot of establishments around here that have a 'free' day. I guess it's National Customer Appreciation Month or something. That's my answer and I'm sticking to it.

Brain freeze...Yep! Been there done that. LOL

LEGEND OF MARY'S BEAN is my Friday blog.

  8. PS....good morning Mari.

To answer your question about the Mary's Bean I found ---the flower is anywhere from white, to blue, to pink or yellow. And it's of the morning glory family, found only in the Caribbean.

  20. I was here at your blog place for more than an hour just reading your previous posts and scrolling down to view the lovely pictures you have taken on your trip.

What a great time I had just looking at the beautiful places, and reading your interesting captions.

You have a good eye, Mari, and your angles are able to capture the photos in such an artistic way!

Thanks for sharing all you did, including the misadventures you had with Alice!

    Love

  24. Erica actually pulled that one out on us on the way home from a pulmonologist appointment. She said it was a word she had made up for headaches. Brandon googled it and found out what it really was so we probed further and found out she had learned it on fetch with ruff ruffman (a PBS cartoon) little turkey.
