I tried something new out last week. I can't remember where I found this recipe as I've been meaning to try it for a while, but it was so easy, and so good!
Crockpot BBQ Ribs
2-3 pounds ribs (can be bone in or boneless)
1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray's)
1/4 cup water
Boil ribs in large pot of water for 30 minutes to boil the fat out of them
Place ribs in crockpot, cover with BBQ sauce and water.
Cover and cook on low for about 7 hours or until tender.
Enjoy!
I don't usually make ribs ... what am I saying? I've actually never made ribs ... but this recipe looks spectacular and so EASY! I think I'll try it. TG will love it, I know.
ReplyDeleteYum, this looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteI never heard of boiling the fat out before you put something in the crockpot, but that's a great idea! I bet that would work on other meats, too. Thanks for the tip! Those ribs look wonderful!!

Yummy! I love ribs.
ReplyDeleteThese sound really good!
ReplyDeleteI have made my ribs like this before and they are very good! Have not made it in a while and I just bought some ribs...
ReplyDeleteLooks great, Mari. Did you use country style ribs, the thick fat ones? I think after a meal of them this way, shredding the leftover meat would make some mean BBQ sandwiches!
