I love flowers! It's so fun to wander around the yard and see what is in bloom. I thought I'd show you a few things in my yard.
This is the front walk. The glass globe was a gift to me from Aaron, Laura and Heather for Mother's Day this year. I really enjoy seeing it when I pull in the driveway.

This bench sits near Bob's workshop in our side yard. He made the bench several years ago and it looks so inviting with the day lilies blooming.

This is in our back yard. The climbing roses are really thriving, and I love seeing that color when I look out the window.
There is a quote that says; "The earth laughs in flowers".
I know that looking at flowers makes me smile!
*Disclaimer - I do not have a green thumb! These flowers are Bob's work. My only contribution is the input I offer when we buy them, and my admiration as they grow!
You have such a beautiful backyard! I love it!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so professional and beautiful. Flowers make me smile too!!! Love the red roses climbing the arbor.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous yard! A lot of work to maintain it in such a great shape! Living in a high rise now, I sure miss the various gardens I planned and cared for all those years!
ReplyDeleteThat is the most gorgeous yard ever! I love the flowers and the bench! I can see myself, relaxing with a book outdoors.
ReplyDeleteYou both make a great team.
Breathtakingly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI planted two climbing rose bushes last year and they have become my favorite. The fragrance is so pretty.
I love that globe, did it come on that stand?
That husband of yours certainly has a lot of talent!
could Bob come create beauty in my yard?! i LOVE this..i would never come in if my yard looked like this!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! That Bob is quite a guy, isn't he???
ReplyDeleteI love the globe, and how sweet that you drive home and admire it every time. Your yard looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI picked my first bunch of roses today, so fragrant and pretty. I'm still jealous of your rambling garden.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous yard, Mari. I needed that inspiration. Our new yard has been horribly neglected and is nothing but mowed weeds. We'll be lucky to coax some lawn by the end of summer. Oh well, gotta start somewhere.

I don't have a green thumb either..or any shade resembling green. But, I do love beautiful gardens and those who can wrangle them.
ReplyDeleteKen is the one who keeps tabs on the watering etc. for the flowers.
ReplyDeleteBut I do admire them. Your yard is beautiful! I love the bench.
Your yard looks like a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day!!

ReplyDeleteYour yard is exquisite, Mari. Flowers make me happy too!
ReplyDeleteI love a beautiful yard, but Dave and I both HATE yard work. I have a tough time keep a few flowers from being over taken by weeds.
ReplyDeleteYour yard is gorgeous and I'm sure you appreciate the beauty daily!
I think you should sign up for your town's garden tour! Every place in your gardens is gorgeous! I love all the weathered wood. It makes the color in the flowers POP! Tell Bob that he did a great job!
ReplyDeleteI too do not have a green thumb but I want something like that crawling up a trellis on our deck for more privacy, I just am so nervous to do it, because I know NOTHING about that!
ReplyDeleteI think your roses are beautiful, I love the color popping out around the archway... It brings your yard to life! hehe
Both you and Bob are heavily endowed with an artistic way about you. I appreciate the creativity in you both.
ReplyDeleteYou have a very beautiful garden. Bless Bob for creating it and you for capturing its beauty on camera. :D
ReplyDeleteYour yard and flowers are beautiful!
