My recipe for today is for Key Lime Pie. This is the easiest recipe, and is a nice refreshing dessert in the summer. Enjoy!
Key Lime Pie
5 egg yolks, beaten
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup lime juice
1 drop green food coloring
1 prepared graham cracker pie crust
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix together egg yolks and condensed milk. Stir in lime juice and food coloring. Poor into prepared pie crust. Bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Garnish with whipped cream if desired.
Mari, The Key Lime Pie sounds absolutely delicious.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my post tonight. I think it is very strange and have my doubts. There are other symptoms. I'm waiting for our stroke dr to come back from vacation and asking for another opinion. The fingernails were a good call.

ReplyDeleteThat does sounds super easy! Except I cannot get graham crackers or crust here. Thinking a chocolate cookie crust would work just as well :D

ReplyDeleteThis looks so great! I have never made nor eaten a key-lime pie but I have heard they are fabulous. So I am wondering if I could make it with my homemade pie crust (because our family loves it when I bake using Kamut flour and our son has food allergies too) recipe? It's so good and flaky but I just do not know if it would taste right? Thanks!
