I have a feeling most of you have heard of The Pioneer Woman. I've been following her blog for some time. I like her stories of life on the ranch, stories about her family, her beautiful photography and most of all her recipes.
She recently published a cookbook and I just purchased it. What a great cookbook! It's a lot like her blog; with photo's of each step of the recipe and fun little stories interspersed among the recipes. Of course, her recipes are wonderful. I don't think there has been one I haven't liked.
If you haven't seen this, I highly recommend it!
Though I no longer do, I used to read her blog here and there. It's very entertaining, and I suspect her cookbook is as well. : )
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of her until this week and now that seems to be all I am hearing about. Thanks for reminding me to look her up.
ReplyDeleteLove and Blessings, Angel
I will have to check her blog out.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, andrea

ReplyDeleteMari,
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to put that one a wish list! I love her blog and have followed many of her recipes she has posted there. Great cooking.

She's one of my favorites too. I haven't purchased her cookbook...yet.

I've heard a lot about her blog and cookbook but have never been to either.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love her blog, and I do have her cookbook. My favorite recipe of hers is her pot roast.
ReplyDeleteI've got mine too! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI have a series of favorite cook books. Started subscribing to a cooking magazine several years ago and then they came out with an annual cook book which is a compilation of all the previous year's magazines. So now that's what I get every year.
ReplyDeleteI love it!
I do love her recipes! Isn't it amazing what happens with blogs!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy her blog, and tastykitchen.com is now one of my go-to places for recipes.
ReplyDeleteI bet it's great!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna have to go over and check her blog out now...thanks for the 'heads up'.
ReplyDeleteShe is great!! Thanks Mari:)
ReplyDeleteYou will love her recipes! I also love reading about her life in between the recipes. It is a great book!
ReplyDeleteBet it's a great book, I've been wanting to pick it up for a while, think I'll do that soon :)
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I heard of her and that's thanks to you. :)
ReplyDeleteRee is spread all over the place. And she worked hard to get there. Did you know that when she was on the "VIEW" in their introduction of her, they said she gets, 25,000 visitors each month? Think of that. Wow.
ReplyDeleteI do intend on picking up the PW cookbook but I haven't done so yet. I just may ask for it for my birthday this year.
ReplyDeleteI used to read her blog but haven't in awhile. I need to visit it again soon.
