Tomorrow (Monday) won't be a nice day. We have to take Andy to the airport this morning so he can go back to Colorado. We've had such a good time having him home for Christmas.
I thought I would show you a few pictures of my kids in front of the tree. Every year I take a picture of all of them, and every year they harass me about it. I'm going to share a few to show you what I go through to get one good picture. Take note that Laura and Andy appear to be the biggest troublemakers of the bunch. It's true in more than just pictures!

Oh Mari sweetie...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful family you have. I love all of the pictures. Even the ones with the funny faces, because you remember that day so much more when they are like that. They just wouldn't be themselves if they didn't have at least a couple of those fun shots now would they?
To cute, to cute. Thanks for sharing with me. Ofcourse I am sorry Andy has to go back to Colorado, but he'll be back.
Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
Beautiful kids....mine do not cooperate for pictures either. Someone is always giving a crazy look (on purpose).
ReplyDeleteBlessings, andrea
They are the cutest! I can just imagine how much fun it is to be at your house with all of them there.
ReplyDeleteAndy will be back before you know it.
I loved the pictures - every one of them!
that's amazing that they were all wearing matching colors when/or if it wasn't planned. too funny!
ReplyDeleteGreat Pictures! Amazing what trouble makers they are!
ReplyDeleteHalf the fun is looking at the silly pictures :-) Good memories are made that way! I love the color coordination, too -- great combo!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the matching colors!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures Mari! I love the spunk of your kids :) So happy that you enjoyed your Christmas. Wishing Andy a safe trip :)
ReplyDeleteLovely, LOVELY family. I adore them all...even the ones where they are giving you a 'bad time'. LOL
ReplyDeleteAnd is that Oliver too?
Thanks for the visit, and the fantastic comment for me today Mari.
Hope it's warming up there. I read how cold it was where you are...BRRRRR!
These are great photos.
ReplyDeleteI love Laura's facial expressions and the matching colors!
I'm wondering who they take after (the goofing off side, I mean.) So happy for you that you were all able to spend the holidays together. It is sad when one has to leave again though. I'll be thinking about you this week. Life is always full of adjustments, isn't it. Take care.
ReplyDeleteEach picture is a keeper! I love that their persoalities shine through.
ReplyDeletePraying for a safe trip for Andy, your sending him off with a heart full of loving memories.
i love the progression!! :) its a refreshing change to see life behind the pictures - other than everyone's typical posed smile Christmas photos.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Don't you love how it happens on accident (the clothes matching)?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your thoughts!!! I appreciate them!
Awww,(hugs) mari! I know this will be a hard day. I will be thinking of you today. And pray! Glad you had a delighful holiday with your babies! the photos are great-all of them! Thanks for dropping by Tales from Bloggeritaville, my friend! Happy New year!

Mari,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful keepsake to treasure long after everyone has returned home. Perhaps it's just less than a year away for reuniting once again.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
Those two kids must act just like their aunts!!!! Of course Heather acts like you, LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the last photo! What a great one to keep.
I know we keep telling each other, but Heather looks just like you back in the day. Oh my!! Isn't it funny how you can see me in Lindsey and I can see you totally in Heather? I guess they really are our girls.
Praying for you guys!
I've been thinking about you all day, Mari.
ReplyDeleteWell, I noticed that Oliver seems to be having words with Andy in one of the middle pictures. He seems to be getting a little irritated at Andy's nonsense. :)
Heather is definitely your look-alike. I cracked up at the clothing though.
BOTH of your kids acting up for the picture?
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm. Wonder where they get that from?
Some things are the same no matter what family you are a part of. Moms fighting their kids trying to get one good picture is one of them.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures ALL are enjoyable. :)
Hugs
What a riot! They really have a good time. You raised some wonderful children.
ReplyDeleteAt least they hang in there until you get a good picture! It is great to see how much fun you all have together.
ReplyDeleteLoved the family pictures and so funny about the outfits and matching accidentally without preparation is always fun.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, Mari. You have a beautiful family. And I will be praying for Andy.
