My crazy kids!

Tomorrow (Monday) won't be a nice day. We have to take Andy to the airport this morning so he can go back to Colorado. We've had such a good time having him home for Christmas.

I thought I would show you a few pictures of my kids in front of the tree. Every year I take a picture of all of them, and every year they harass me about it. I'm going to share a few to show you what I go through to get one good picture. Take note that Laura and Andy appear to be the biggest troublemakers of the bunch. It's true in more than just pictures!

Heather, Andy, Laura, Aaron

And finally - a decent shot! Did you notice the matching colors? We laughed when Laura and Aaron arrived, because Heather and Laura had matching sweaters on. Heather changed, but still was wearing the same color, and Andy and Aaron both were wearing gray.

  1. Oh Mari sweetie...
What a beautiful family you have. I love all of the pictures. Even the ones with the funny faces, because you remember that day so much more when they are like that. They just wouldn't be themselves if they didn't have at least a couple of those fun shots now would they?

To cute, to cute. Thanks for sharing with me. Ofcourse I am sorry Andy has to go back to Colorado, but he'll be back.

    Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

  10. I'm wondering who they take after (the goofing off side, I mean.) So happy for you that you were all able to spend the holidays together. It is sad when one has to leave again though. I'll be thinking about you this week. Life is always full of adjustments, isn't it. Take care.

What a wonderful keepsake to treasure long after everyone has returned home. Perhaps it's just less than a year away for reuniting once again.

  17. Those two kids must act just like their aunts!!!! Of course Heather acts like you, LOL

Love the last photo! What a great one to keep.

I know we keep telling each other, but Heather looks just like you back in the day. Oh my!! Isn't it funny how you can see me in Lindsey and I can see you totally in Heather? I guess they really are our girls.

    Praying for you guys!

  18. I've been thinking about you all day, Mari.

Well, I noticed that Oliver seems to be having words with Andy in one of the middle pictures. He seems to be getting a little irritated at Andy's nonsense. :)

Heather is definitely your look-alike. I cracked up at the clothing though.

  20. Some things are the same no matter what family you are a part of. Moms fighting their kids trying to get one good picture is one of them.

Your pictures ALL are enjoyable. :)
