Today (July 24) is cousins day! The picture posted here is all the kids on my side of the family. This picture was taken a few years ago, shortly before Andy left for the Army. As you can see, they get along well and have fun together!
.
I've been blessed with a great family, including lots of cousins. My Dad had 10 kids in his family and my Mom had 9. If my addition is right, I have 53 cousins!
If you have cousins, today is the day to send a greeting their way!

ReplyDeleteI didn't know or didn't remember that today was cousins day. I remember seeing this pic before though and perhaps it was put up last year on cousins day.
ReplyDeleteyou have a big family!
I didn't know about Cousins Day.
ReplyDeleteNice picture. I have a bunch of them too.
wow, 53 cousins! that's a lot. I come from a small family, only two siblings, and now my only sister lives in the US.
ReplyDeleteWhat I know about big families is that the children grow up to be less demanding and more self-giving...
Thanks for sharing this post and the lovely picture. I continue to remember your son in the army.
Have a great weekend.
Love
Lidj
Mari,
ReplyDeleteI had a lot of cousins too. Many are not in this area anymore and many have passed on at a young age. The picture is a treasure. What great memories.
Blessings,
Mary
That's cool! I'll have to send out "belated" happy cousins day greetings. Better late than never.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great picture, by the way. I don't have any pictures with my cousins like that. Wish I did!
having a good family is one of the best blessings! You are Blessed
ReplyDeleteNot sure if Cheri told you that my parents know your dad. They even went on a trip with your folks years back. Who knew??? They said your dad was loads of fun. I'm beginning to see a pattern here. It seems I love being with you and "the sisters" and the next generation appears to be a silly as you guys :)
ReplyDeleteHow cute, I love the photo Mari :)
ReplyDeletegreat photo Mari ! I'm not surprised that they all get along so well, considering how well you and your sisters get along !!
ReplyDeletecousin day, who knew ? :) glad i know now !
Mari, nice posting, and by the way I have an award for you.
ReplyDeleteOh, my! 53! I grew up knowing 2! If I'd known my natural father's side of the family I'd have had a lot more since he had five siblings, but that's just not the way God had it planned.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo...you can tell they get along great.
Totally missed cousins day! I'll say it again Mari you have a great family!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture!! Never knew about that day either:)
ReplyDeleteFun! We just had a family gathering where I saw all my cousins (who could make it) on my mom's side. We get together about 3 times a year. It's amazing how much bigger everyone's kids get over that time.
ReplyDeleteI love it! There's something wonderful about the one in the blue shirt looking up....it puts the picture as a whole over the top! : )
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely photo of your family Mari. Mari you have to be one of the nicest people in blogland. I was thinking of you yesterday and kept smiling, thinking what a lovely lady you are - so thought I'd tell you.
