It's time to send Andy off again. We've had such a great time having him around for these few weeks. One thing about this army life is that you learn to really enjoy the time you have together! We had Laura and Aaron over tonight for supper and some time together. They don't appreciate my taking pictures but I wanted a shot of them all together as it won't happen again for a while. It's going to be a very short night - we will be leaving the house at 3:15 to get to the airport!
It's hard to believe it's time for him to leave already. It seems like you were just counting down the days until he was home.
ReplyDeleteHave a good (long) trip, Andy!
{hugs} Mari!
I can't believe it's been a few weeks already! Is he going back to Norfolk?
ReplyDeleteAwww, didn't he just get home?
ReplyDeleteI love the picture, they all look great, and I don't blame you for getting to sit still for one more picture!
I don't remember you saying where he would be going...back to Korea, or stateside? Glad he had a few weeks at home and that they cooperated so you could take a group picture.
ReplyDeleteGosh Mari, the time really did fly by, didn't it?! Where is he headed now?
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Kat
(on another subject...do you have a good corn casserole recipe? If so, can you e-mail it to me please?)
This has to be hard for you, be blessed.
ReplyDeleteThank you Andy for serving our country.
Dearest Mari,
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how hard it is to send your baby off. But I also know how much pride you have in doing it. For I too, as an AMerican have that pride in your son, for chosing the most noble job choice, to serve his country. I stand and applaud and send sweet Mari lots of hugs, accompanied by prayers. I thank your son for his service.
Hugs, my friend.
Leigh

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Mari!
ReplyDeleteAndy has come and gone :(, time goes by so quickly these days, perhaps it's just that I am getting older :). Your children are precious, I know you cherish every memory and one day they will be so happy you took so many pictures!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Kathi :)
That photo becomes priceless even if our kids don't quite get the value of it.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had this time with Andy. It went quickly though and I'm sure it went more quickly for all of you. I can't imagine it's time for him to leave already.
Great photo and I'm glad they cooperated.
Hope you're enjoying the weekend.
Blessings,
Mary
Huuuuuuuuug. Thinking of you this week, Mari! I loved this photo and the baby pics of your kids, too.
ReplyDeleteMari,
ReplyDeleteI was visiting Leigh of Bloggeritaville, and read about your son. My thought and prayers are with you, and your family. I was living on the Persian Gulf on 9/11 and sincerely appreciate your son's sacrifice to protect our country. Wishing you all my best and a Happy Easter....~Cathy~
