Here's another slow cooker recipe for a different type of taco.
Pulled Pork Tacos
2 cups salsa plus more for serving
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons oregano
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 - 2 1/2 pound boneless pork shoulder, trimmed of excess fat
18 corn tortillas
sour cream
lime if desired
In 4 to 6 quart slow cooker, combine the salsa, chili powder, oregano, cocoa and salt. Add the pork and turn to coat.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, until meat is tender and pulls apart easily.
Twenty minutes before serving, heat oven to 350 degrees. Stack tortillas, wrap in foil and bake until warm - about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, using 2 forks, shred pork and stir into cooking liquid,
Serve with tortillas, sour cream, salsa and lime if desired.
