My poor feet!

Many of you know that my 2 sisters (Terri and Cheri) and I have a tradition of going Christmas shopping together. Every year in the early part of November we schedule a Friday and shop all day. This past Friday was that day.
We started off about 8 in the morning, and shopped all day with just a short break for lunch and a chance to review our lists. We had a wonderful supper at The Olive Garden, and then made a few more stops.
This was what the hotel room looked like when we hauled everything into our room.
We made a few more stops on Saturday morning, before we returned home to our families. We had a lot of fun and there were several fits of laughter, but we all accomplished a lot. All three of us had sore feet by the time we got settled into the hotel room. I do have a few more things to finish up, but the end is in sight!

Tuesday is Veterans Day in the USA. Be sure you thank any veterans you know for what they gave for our country!

  2. Shopping with sisters is my favorite type of shopping. My sister and I shop together on black friday. This past year my sister-in-law joined us. It is always so much fun. We don't do the fighting silliness. If we can get what we want, great, if not, then oh well! We just have fun!

  10. Where did you sleep after all that shopping? :) I love Olive Garden...one of my favorite restaurants.

This is back to your last post, but over the weekend we had Missionary Christmas at our church. Once when we were all gathered as a group and the main gentleman was speaking, he talked about Philippians 4:6, and said that the word "anxious" in that verse means "strangled." What strong context, and I knew I had to pass it on to you. Unfortunately I'm just now getting around to it.

    Have a great week, Mari!

  14. Sounds like a lot of fun and a wonderful tradition for sisters.
My sisters and I have been going for the past few years on Black Friday...sadly this year my oldest sister will not be spending Thanksgiving with us. We will still have fun though. I love fighting the crowds and seeing how everyone goes crazy over certain things. I just sit back and laugh!
