Slow Cooking Thursday

It's time to visit Sandra and see what great slow cooker recipes she has for us today. I think Fall is the perfect season for Slow Cooking. The recipe I have for you today is a soup that goes together quickly and is so good when it's getting cooler outside!

Hamburger Vegetable Soup
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic
4 cups V8 juice
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes
2 cups coleslaw mix
2 cups frozen green beans
2 cups frozen corn
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon rosemary
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Cook beef, onion and garlic in saucepan until beef is browned and drain. In slow cooker, combine remaining ingredients. Stir in beef mixture. Cover and cook on low for 9 hours or until veggies are tender.

  7. I'm new to making any soup that's outside of potato or taco soup, so I'll have to give this one a try.
