It was hard to come up with something and limit it to six words, but this is what I came up with.
God's in control, I'm at peace.
I must admit that I have to remind myself of that at times, when I start stressing about things, but it is such a comfort to know that God is in control. Because He has a reason for things that happen, although I may not always understand, I can rest in his care.
That's mine. I'm not going to follow all the rules, because I'm not tagging anyone else, but feel free to play along if you want to!

That is a tough one. I love how it turned out!
ReplyDeleteYou know I read your 6 words and I started to feel peaceful too, the words washed over me. So easy to get worried and concerned about various things in life.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great thing for all of us to remember. I love the picture!
ReplyDeleteVery good! We all need to remember that God is in Control and let Him be. Peace knowing that all things work out for those who love Him. Amazing how it is so easy to try to run our own lives. I have decisions to make so pray for me girlie!
ReplyDeleteI like it Mari. :) I know what you mean about it being hard !! Six words isn't much !!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Mari! That is something I have to remind myself of often too!
ReplyDeleteThere couldn't be a better memoir.
ReplyDeleteI also don't think there could be one person who wouldn't benefit from your words. I know I needed them.
Good job!
That is something I struggle with to.
ReplyDeleteLet go and let God.
Hi Mari Got to your blog via Ginger's - hope that's OK. I don't have a blog but am a Christian living in the UK and just wanted to say how great I thought the words were "God's in control. I'm at peace". Bless you

As I looked at your picture and read the 6 words that you chose, I felt such an awesome comfort. It made me think about God holding me in the palm of his hand, and that just like any father he will never let anything hurt me too bad. I've been through a lot in the last few days, but I know that God is always in control. You helped me remember that today! Thank you for letting God use you.
ReplyDeleteYou know Mari, I really needed to be reminded of that today...so thank you.
ReplyDeleteI love the picture you picked and the 6 words are just perfect :)
Hugs,
Sandra

I love your 6 words. It's so true that when you hand it over all you're left with is God's peace!
ReplyDeleteI like it -- I'm going to do one on my blog, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture, love knowing He is in control!! So I don't have to be, hee hee:)

Like you, I know that God is in control but sometimes have to remind myself of the fact when things start worrying me. God takes care of us and we don't always understand why things happen, but He is all-knowing.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed visiting with you.
Blessings,
Mary
God is in control is a reminder I often need. Sometimes the being at peace is a little harder...always learning and growing...
ReplyDeleteI am going to keep thinking of what you said all night, as I have been worrying about something all night. You are right - its in God's hands now. Thanks, Mari.
ReplyDeleteVery well said. I think we all need that reminder.
ReplyDeleteThat was GREAT Mari, just perfect!
