My sisters and I spent the painting on Wednesday. My stepmom is in Florida for a few weeks and my Dad wanted to surprise her by fixing up the dining room while she was gone. There was wallpaper on these walls and it was time for it to go. Dad took the paper down and Terri, Cheri and I came in and painted today. We ended up painting the hallway too. It was lots of work but it looked so nice when we finished. Ann should be happy when she comes home! Here's Terri, working hard at rolling that paint.
Here's Cheri - cooling off by the patio door. I told her it looked like she was just watching while we worked. Actually, we all worked pretty hard, but had fun too!

You sure are good daughters (step daughters)!
ReplyDeleteSweet blessings,
Renee
It looks great! Nothing wrong with having a little fun while you work!
ReplyDeleteI love painting and redoing rooms or whatever needs a change. It is fun to see the end result. When I paint, I crank up the radio and go.
ReplyDeleteTerri, Cheri and Mari...I would have fit right in.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun project and so sweet to do. I bet Ann will be thrilled. Hope so.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Kat
I think you 3 would have fun no matter what you were doing! What a great Surprise!!!
ReplyDeleteAnn got herself quite a great deal when she married your Dad, didn't she? A really thoughtful man AND three sweet, helpful, loving step-daughters. You girls ROCK.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome thing to do for her! Love the pics!
ReplyDeleteNo debate on who worked the hardest? You three are quite the team and Ann will be very blessed to have this all set for her.
ReplyDeleteWhen are you coming to give my house a face lift?
As someone who just had a family member do some painting for me....let me tell you what a blessing you girls are to your Dad and Stepmom.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to come home to a surprise like that!
I know it was lots of work, but a true labor of love.
ReplyDeleteDo we get to see the finished project and a shot of Ann's face when she sees it?
It actually is kind of fun to do it together. It did turn out nice. I'll see what it looks like today with everything up!
ReplyDeleteSo nice of you guys to help surprise your stepmom.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love that your names rhyme!
It was hard work- but fun at the same time.
ReplyDeleteDad said today that he was glad we went darker with the paint color and that he's really happy with it.
Y'all make me want to have three girls - you are always having so much fun and doing such nice things for your daddy! Ann is gonna love it!
