I had an uncle pass away on Friday, so my sister Cheri and I decided to ride together out to the funeral home together to go to the visitation. I had just bought these shoes, so when we got out of the car I showed them to her and asked how she liked my new shoes. She responded by putting her foot out, showing me that she was wearing the exact same pair! This is not unusual for us. There have been several occasions when we have gone somewhere together and have been dressed almost the same. Last year we had to go to a bridal shower. Terri, Cheri and I all showed up wearing khaki pants and black sweaters. We were called the triplets that night and have been teased about it ever since.
You girls are so cute! Those are really cute shoes!
ReplyDeleteThis post made me miss my sisters. :(
That is so much fun!!! My mom and aunt, who are identical twins, do this a lot! They usually end up getting each other the same birthay card and things like that as well!!
ReplyDeleteMy mom and my aunt Diane (twin sisters) have been known to buy the exact same dress when shopping in completely different locations. You guys must be really connected =)

ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the party! It honestly makes me a bit sad to hear of all the ones who haven't had a surprise party, Makes me want to through one for all of you!
Wouldn't that be fun!!
The shoes are from target and yes - they are comfortable.
ReplyDeleteYou girls are so fun ! I'm always smiling when I visit any of your blogs !! (and when you visit mine !!)
ReplyDeleteLove Love Love them! Actually I love anything from Target but these shoes particularly.
ReplyDeleteI was there today and didn't shoe shop. Won't make that mistake again.
Maybe tomorrow I can put my own picture of these shoes up on my blog... hmmmmmmmm. :0)
I love when that happens at school or at church. We always joke that we called each other that morning to decide how we were going to dress!
ReplyDeleteI love it. My sisters and I are so opposite of each other. I don't think we would ever even own the same things. Now Anna and Kaylyn on the other hand have came downstairs for school wearing the same clothes and Anna will quickly run upstairs and change.
ReplyDeleteSmiles!
That was really funny. It was a nice way to lighten up a sad occasion.
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious! I like to hear those kind of stories. Being related you guys have a lot in common. Kinda funny how you have the same taste in things.
ReplyDeleteDena and I do that too, but usually we are shopping together when we buy the same stuff! Our girls usually have the same clothes too. It works out awesome because when they grow out of them they are passed down the line and my girls still have matching outfits!...Great minds think alike.
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny.
ReplyDeleteMy Mom and I have similar tastes in clothing and books...many times buying the same things...I think it is neat!
ReplyDeleteThose shoes look comfy...I'm really into comfy shoes!
mari i just love this post. my sister and i have moments like this all the time. we prepare the same meals, go to the salon, tell mom the same advice. mom is sure we have discussed it ahead of time but we haven't. the list goes on and on. we even get the same pains. the funny thing is my mom and her sister is the same way too. hmmm. i don't know what it is but we got it and i like it. love the shoes too, they look just like my black ones :) ~janel
