I got a new refrigerator tonight! I wasn't even looking for one, but when I got a haircut on Monday, my beautician told me she was going to be opening a toy store along with the beauty shop, where there had been a kitchen cabinet place. She invited me into the new space to look around and along with some fun toys, I see this refrigerator that says "for sale". My refrigerator was doing fine, but was almond and my other appliances are stainless steel. Also the other frig was old and we knew it would probably have to be replaced soon. This new frig is only a little over a year old and has been used as part of a kitchen display so is like new. She was selling it for a really good price and we knew we would kick ourselves later if our frig died and we had to pay full price. So - we bought it and Bob and my brother-in-law Mark went and got it tonight.
what a nice early Christmas present for your kitchen! :o) ... good deal ...

ReplyDeleteI love stainless steel too. I'll have to post a picture of our Japanese fridge that opens on both sides. The kids think that's cool.

ReplyDeleteMari,
ReplyDeleteThe fridge is beautiful. I have one similar, only it is white and I do love the split shelves. Very easy cleaning. Enjoy!

Your story sounds like some of my experiences! I love it when everything comes together and works out that way, it's so exciting. The frig is lovely, you will enjoy it. Merry Christmas to you. Can you keep your old one on the carport or in the basement? We have an extra there, and it's really convenient.
