  1. Good one! My husband and I had a spider house mate. A daddy long legs who lived in the bathroom. We put up a sign for visitors: don't bother the spider.

  2. my grandmother had a huge, about 3 inches one that lived in her bathroom and she threatened any one who bothered it. Florida has some huge spiders and I hated going in there when it was in my sight or when it was not because I knew it was there. she had no other bugs in her house, her spiders took care of that.

  6. Hmmm. I don't do spiders... about 30 years ago I was bitten 2 times by a brown recluse. Even with the care of a doctor, I thought it would never heal. I always enjoy your cute Friday post..

  7. Then they are in for a surprise!

A lot of people keep those type spiders as pets.

  8. I happen to like spiders - so that would really hurt my heart. Just the other night, I took a brown recluse spider in a paper towel and released him outside. They are fascinating little creatures. πŸ•·πŸ•Έ

  9. No, I can't say that thought has ever crossed my mind. Nor have I had such a charitable thought about the little geckos who try to enter our house when it gets too cold outside (or at any time of year, for that matter).

  11. Oh, somehow touching, but I never kill a spider, I just send it out into nature. Have a nice weekend Mari.

  12. That's too funny! I never kill spiders in my house. I usually just let them be but if one of the cats sees them then it's out of luck!

  13. Oh I am laughing at Terra's response.
In our last home we had a tiny spider that we called Clarence. We would think we had killed him and then he would pop up again in the corner by the shower in our bathroom. Big spiders ... NO Thank you..

  14. LOL... there was a daddy-long-legs spider in the guest bathroom at Joey & Dar's house. I asked Joey to take care of it - quickly!! It wasn't MY roommate! LOL

  16. I often wondered; where did house spiders live before we built houses?

    God bless.
