I much prefer this word and its meaning if it looks like this outside. gorgeous to see but not live in. I love to watch a movie made in snow, sitting in my warm Florida home. ha ha. I get to see its beauty and not feel it.. love this
Hey Mari! I do so enjoy the winter. Been trying to get frozen bubbles outside with zero luck. I do so love looking at the snow from inside too.
Regarding pasta making ...
If you're interested please check out Pasta Grannies on YouTube. Wonderful show. Very much like my own granny back in the day. I have no doubt that you'd be excellent at noodle making.
There's a word for that? Amazing! I love it! Thanks for sharing!! Today was 80 degrees here, but we will be back in the 40's next week! Go figure. It's winter in Florida. Enjoy your snow for us.
*haha* I should whip out this word sometime for my husband. He would look at me with the strangest face, I can just see it! Of course I'll never remember this word until I want to use it. I should write it down. Thanks for sharing, Mari. Love, Andrea xoxo
Hi Mari! I was just going through some old blog post and came across a comment you made in 2015!!! Anyway I wondered if you were still blogging so came here to check on you. Hope you are well!
That's the kind of day we're having here. SO COLD and windy again. Thankfully just a little bit of snow. We did have a break last week, but here we are again.
I have always appreciated these single foreign words we do not have in our vocabulary. I am from the south, and we like to use lots of words when explaining one thing๐.
Oh, I love ❤️ this, Mari. LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you. ❤️
I did not know that word even existed. But I get the meaning.
ReplyDeleteI find it so fascinating that some countries like Alaska and Iceland have words for things that we do not! We don't have a word that describes this!
ReplyDeleteWell that's MY new favorite word! I'll be saying it a lot! No matter what the actual weather, hahaha! Just because. xoxo ๐ด☠️

ReplyDeleteA new word for me, but the meaning is so true.

ReplyDeleteThat wraps it up pretty well!! We have those days in Florida, but they are usually in July and August! LOL

ReplyDeleteThanks for the translation. This is the time of year for a word like that (in some parts of the country, not Florida, of course).
ReplyDeleteNever heard that word before. It's quite a mouthful.
