I'm never the first person to put up Fall decorations, I try to hang on to Summer for a while! But last week, I decided it was time. I don't do a lot, but here's what I did around our house.
The porch is my favorite. We have mums and pumpkins of all sizes. The black milk can is an old one from my Dad's farm and the little pumpkins are in an old egg basket, also from the farm. I love seeing those little bits of family history.
That's it - this will stay until it's time to take it down for Christmas decor and I'm certainly not ready to think about that!

Mari, everything looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks very nice. We bought the corn stalks for my front porch posts tonight.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite is the cute Jenga block pumpkins, so adorable! I love the pumpkin picture on the wall, and the cool centerpiece with the little pumpkin and flowers. My Mums always die!
ReplyDeleteI really love how you brought Fall into your home. It looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteVery nice and neat decoration. Unfortunately we don’t have deck here and it is difficult to decorate the front door.
ReplyDeleteYour home looks beautiful and I do love the thankful and gourd shelf best of all and the reflections in you glass door on the porch grabbed my eye for light.
ReplyDeleteLoving your Fall decor. So simple and pretty. We found some tri colored mums that we placed in front of our store doors. We have had lots of compliments on them. I never bought any for the house. Just too busy with other stuff. Janice
ReplyDeleteI would have a hard time picking my favorite out of all the decorating you've done, Mari. Everything is lovely. But when it comes to memories, it would be the porch because of the items that came from your dad's farm.
ReplyDeleteI love your style - minimalist and classy. It’s just right!
ReplyDeleteSo, you decorated for fall - I am so ready for fall! I love everything you put out. I like the pumpkin - it looks like it is in water, but I know it is not. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love all the little spaces of autumn fancy! I have never thought of having special framed art work for fall, but I am considering doing that in the future, if I find artwork I like.
ReplyDeleteI do love your white wall paneling too, by the way! Blessings!
How cute those little jenga block pumpkins are. you are so creative Mari. Everything speaks Fall around your place and I must say that I love your white wall. I still need to do my porch....Your's looks so welcoming.
ReplyDeleteYour home is so elegantly decorated. I like the simple things you have put up, especially the Jenga pumpkins. So clever.
ReplyDeleteI love the "history" on your porch. It just says welcome, please come in.

You have a beautiful home and I love that I know exactly where all of your decorations are located and can picture the entire scene!! Thanks for the tour!! xo
ReplyDeleteYour fall touches are so pretty and look just right to me.
ReplyDeleteYour porch looks so welcoming. The perfect spot to enjoy a glass of that delicious Michigan apple cider and perhaps a donut :)
Love the New Day sign too. A wonderful reminder to enjoy each day to the fullest.
It looks very festive.
