We made our first trip of the year to the Greenhouse near us last week. People come from all over the state to go to this greenhouse. It's huge, the greenhouse itself is 21 acres.

We also bought some Lenten roses to plant in our woodland garden.
We'll be back to get more once the chances of frost are gone. It's always a fun visit!

ReplyDeleteOur greenhouses are a fraction of that size, located next to barns on Amish and Mennonite Farms in our rural area.
Wow. Ive have never seen a greenhouse that big. I’d sure have some fun in there!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful. That greenhouse looks absolutely amazing! 21 acres of plants sounds like a gardener’s dream. It must be so peaceful and exciting to walk through all that greenery. The ferns are a beautiful sight, and the plants really seem to add such life to the space.

The planter for your porch is so nice. I think I'll get one for my front yard. The Lenten roses that you selected for your woodland garden are just perfect for a woodland garden. I had never heard of Lenten roses.

That is extraordinary. HOW do they take care of all of those plants? Don't answer that ... I imagine they water them from sprinklers up above, hahaha! But still! Do they hope to sell them all? Your planter pot is gorgeous. I'd love to see it in person. xoxo

ReplyDeleteI've never seen such a huge greenhouse! That is amazing! How do they keep all those plants properly watered I wonder? That would be quite a job for someone! It would be fun to walk through there. Was it overly warm? Most greenhouses I've ever been too were way too warm to stay in for very long! But it would be fun to try. I love the plants you bought!
