Look what I won!

I got such a nice thing delivered to me today. I won this Jesus Storybook Bible from Sarah, known in the blog world as Short Stop.
You know I don't have young kids to read this to, but I think it will be perfect someday for grandkids, and any other little ones that come to visit!
Sarah said this was a wonderful book, and after seeing it I agree! It even comes with the stories on an audio CD.
Here's a taste of what it looks like...

Here is the story of Daniel in the Lions Den. Look at the drawings. Do you see the head popping out of the hole in the top of the den? All through the book, the writing and pictures just draw you in.

Here's Goliath. They turn the book sideways to let the kids see how big he is. As I paged through it, I noticed the author was very inventive in the layout of different stories.
I've decided that I'm going to enjoy reading it too!
Thanks Sarah - what a wonderful book!

Someday your grandkids will have a neat Gramma and a neat Bible book to share. Lucky you. (It's hard to wait for that day, isn't it? I'm patiently waiting too.

What a beautiful and wonderful gift. I must admit that this is one I had really hoped to win. I've begun a small collection for "someday".

Someone suggested to me to have special books just for my house since it looks like my grandbabies will probably live far, far away. By having special books they will always think of me and the books together.

I think this is true as my grandmother had a special story book that we only read at her house. I can remember it well and the memory is a treasure.

I may have to someday invest in this book. I sure hope so!

Yes. This looks like a good one to save for the day when you have grand babies toddling around.

Have a very Merry Christmas!

Thanks so much for sharing a glimpse of the book. It's one I haven't seen before and it looks really good. I'm going to look it up on CBD and put it on my wish list for my little guy. I think it would be a great adition to our story times. :)

Mari, congratulations on winning the giveaway. The book is beautiful. I often leaf through children's books when in the bookstore. Brandon and Jordan are too old for picture books, but Griffyn and Tarryn are just the right age.

Getting used to the insulin. The injection part is not hard. I am just being real careful about the dosage and keeping track of my glucose levels. Thanks for thinking of me.

Wishing you a great week.
Blessings,
Mary
